Landon has been picking up on what kids say and think at school. In Kindergarten he only played with girls, and until about October and November he did the same thing in 1st grade. But now he likes chasing girls but is definitely becoming the typical little boy and his best friends are boys. He thinks it is so gross when Marcus and I kiss. I love to kiss Marcus more just to gross him out. He still loves to snuggle me, but I asked him for a smooch the other day on the cheek and he gave me a peck. I told him I didn't want a peck I wanted a smooch. He wouldn't do it and said he was too embarrassed.
Last night the school had a school dance where in each grade the kids got to do two dances. He had been telling me about them earlier this week. One of the dances he has to hold hands with a girl. He said he had to get down on one knee. There were other parts that he said he has to step really close to her, and he doesn't like that part, but then they get to step away from each other and he thought that was so much better. But he told me that the dance was so embarrassing that he couldn't even show me. Last night before we went he was willing to show us some of the dancing, so he danced with Kylie. It was pretty cute.
We went to the dance and the kids had a great time. I had a hard time seeing Landon. But the second dance they do the Macarena and Landon really cracked me up. I could just barely see his face. But everytime they jump to change directions he throws his arms way up in the air. Here is a video that Marcus got of him. His face is to your right from they guy in the white hat. Landon is in a black shirt with gray sleeves.
